Buccaneers place two on injured reserve, more likely to follow

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are placing a slew of players on injured reserve after yesterday’s rash of injuries. With only two weeks to go, even short-term injuries are worth a trip to IR, to free up a roster spot for someone who could actually win Dirk Koetter a game or two.

Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports that right guard J.R. Sweezy and linebacker Adarius Glanton are two of the first players to go on IR. Glanton broke his leg yesterday, which was broadcast in very graphic detail.
