The Tampa Bay Buccaneers officially placed DB Jude Adjei-Barimah on injured reserve after he passed through waivers unclaimed on Wednesday.
Adjei-Barimah, 25, wound up signing on with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Bowling Green back in 2015. He was waived coming out of the preseason but later signed to the team’s practice squad.
After a month on the practice squad, the Buccaneers called Adjei-Barimah to their active roster. However, he was suspended four games for violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing drugs policy.
The Buccaneers placed him on injured reserve in December of last year after he suffered the patellar injury.
