The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were on the losing side of a 20-7 game in Jacksonville Saturday night. There were parts in the game that may have left you thinking optimistically, but boy were there others that made you want to turn off your television set.
One phase of the night for he Bucs that shined against the Jaguars was the pass rush. Tampa Bay applied pressure on Jacksonville’s offense often throughout the night. The defense racked up five sacks against the Jaguars, led by Jose Ramirez who recorded three of his own.
“That’s the one good thing that showed up on defense,” head coach Todd Bowles said following Saturday’s loss.
