Rick Stroud reports that the Buccaneers are not expected to sign veteran free agent WR Riley Cooper after his three-day tryout with the team at their rookie minicamp.
This is the first reported interest in Cooper since he became a free agent last February.
Although Tampa Bay is not expected to sign him, Buccaneers HC Dirk Koetter said Riley looked good during workouts due to the simple fact that it showed he’s played in the NFL.
“Well, you could tell that he’s played,” Koetter said, via Buccaneers.
