The Buccaneers announced a series of injury-related moves as the roster churn continues in Tampa Bay.
Notably, Earnest Brown IV entered his 21-day practice window coming off injured reserve. The defensive lineman initially earned a spot on the 53-man roster coming out of camp but suffered a rib injury that sidelined him for the first 5 games. Given the Buccaneers’ severe struggles with defensive line depth this year and subpar play from fill-ins like Mike Greene (59.4 PFF grade) and C.J. Brewer (43.7 grade), anything Brown can contribute should be immediately helpful.
On the flip side, the Buccaneers placed edge rusher Markees Watts on injured reserve.
