You don’t need to be in coaches meetings to know that Buccaneers linebacker K.J. Britt plays each down with a purpose. From his ability to hit the line of scrimmage with force to bringing down pass catchers, Britt immediately became a favorite when he saw increased playing time in 2023.
The 25-year-old was called on often to take over for former Bucs linebacker Devin White throughout last season. Although he’s been on the team since being drafted in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft, it was his 2023 campaign that made the decision easier for the coaches and front office to let White walk this past offseason.
