The Tampa Bay Buccaneers need to sell just 1,000 ticket to sell out Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans, the team announced today. Sellouts are a rare occasion for the Bucs, with local blackouts a frequent result from 2010 through 2012. Blackouts are no longer a factor thanks to changes in NFL rules, but the Bucs still only had full attendance at one game last season, averaging 90% of tickets sold -- one of the lowest percentages in the NFL.
So selling out against a lackluster team like the Titans is a pretty good indicator of the level of excitement in the area for this year's Bucs.
