The Tampa Bay Buccaneers came out of yesterday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys with a few old and a few new injuries. Head coach Dirk Koetter elaborated on a few of those in his press talk today.
Most notably, backup tackle Gosder Cherilus has a groin strain which caused him to leave last night’s game right after blowing a whole bunch of blocks. Koetter blamed that on him trying to play through an injury, per Greg Auman. The Bucs turned to Leonard Wester to replace him for the final few drives.
Cherilus, of course, was replacing Demar Dotson who has missed the past two games with a concussion.
