The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are hosting cornerback Brice McCain for a visit today, according to Jason Cole of Bleacher Report, confirmed by Greg Auman. McCain was released by the Miami Dolphins last week after a disappointing season as the team's primarily slot cornerback. Cutting him saved the cap-strapped Dolphins some $2.5 million in salary cap space.
McCain originally entered the league as a sixth-round pick for the Houston Texans in 2009, but he started just ten games in five years in Houston. He left in free agency for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2014, and signed a two-year deal with the Miami Dolphins last year.
