Buccaneers hire Bruce Arians to be their next head coach

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have hired former Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce to become the franchise’s 12th head coach.

Arians spent the 2018 season in the broadcasting booth for CBS. He spent the previous five years with the Cardinals building a 49-30-1 record and making the playoffs twice.

The link between Arians and Tampa Bay was clear from the start. He worked with Bucs general manager Jason Licht in Arizona. He also talked highly of Jameis Winston in the past.

Tampa Bay’s ownership and front office aimed for the stars by targeting Arians.
