Buccaneers Designate QB Ryan Griffin To Return From Injured Reserve

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced Wednesday that they’ve designated QB Ryan Griffin as one of their two players to return from injured reserve.

This officially opens a three-week window of time for the Buccaneers to add him to their active roster or he would remain on the injured reserve list for the duration of the season.

Griffin, 27, originally signed on with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Tulane back in 20. New Orleans decided to make him one of their final roster cuts but signed him to their practice squad once he cleared waivers.
