The Tampa Bay Buccaneers 37-20 win over Washington Sunday seemed to have gotten the Bucs off to a great start to the 2024 season. However, lost in the victory was an injury to one of their star defensive players that came near the end of the game.
On Monday, speaking to the media, head coach Todd Bowles revealed a foot injury to star safety Antoine Winfield, Jr.
When asked when Winfield got hurt, Bowles said he injured his foot on the last few plays of what was Washington’s final drive.
“He got hurt on one of the last two plays of the game in regulation.
