TAMPA - Finishing a season with the worst record in the league will get you more than just the first pick in the NFL Draft. It’ll also give you first crack at any player who winds up in what the Buccaneers refer to as the NFL’s “second draft.’’
That’s the nickname the Bucs have given to the process of claiming players off waivers, and the Bucs used their place at the top Sunday to secure the services of five players, including former Tulane quarterback Ryan Griffin.
