TAMPA, Fla. -- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won't be putting the pads on until Sunday's fourth training camp practice, but things already started to get physical -- a little too physical -- on Saturday, the first time players wore shells this week.
"What I didn't like was that first team period was ugly, ugly, ugly from a penalty standpoint," Bucs coach Dirk Koetter said after practice. "We can't play that way. We're not going to play that way. And they'll hear about it."
Koetter applauded the team's energy Saturday, but emphasized that they can't get carried away with hits.
