Tampa Bay Times’ Rick Stroud reported that the Buccaneers will, in fact, be releasing linebacker Bruce Carter, one year after signing him to a four year, $17-million dollar deal. Only $4.25 was guaranteed, all loaded into last year. Carter was due another $4.25 this year, including a $750,000 roster bonus. This will mean no dead money for the Bucs in 2016 and beyond based on Carter’s deal.
