Marpet, a guard out of Division III Hobart, was one of two offensive linemen that the Bucs selected in the second round. The team drafted tackle Donovan Smith 34th overall before moving back into the second round to pick up Marpet at No. 61.

“Our scouts did an excellent job of digging him out early,” General Manager Jason Licht said after day two of the draft.
