The Tampa Bay Buccaneers secondary suffered some devastating blows for Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers. Brent Grimes and Robert McClain, their two starting cornerbacks, are out with injuries—a shoulder injury and a concussion, respectively. The Bucs will also be missing backup cornerback and special teams ace Josh Robinson with another concussion.
The Bucs already have one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL, and will now have to suit up with very inexperienced players at cornerback, including sophomore players Vernon Hargreaves and Javien Elliott. Cam Newton could (and should) have a field day against this Tampa Bay defense on Sunday.
