Sam Wyche may not get the love he deserves in Tampa Bay. I mean, this is the guy that drafted John Lynch, Warren Sapp, and Derrick Brooks. He led the Cincinnati Bengals to two Super Bowl appearances. Now, he’s fighting for his life.
Wyche has been in a hospital in Charlotte since last week awaiting a heart transplant and was just informed that he will receive one. Wyche informed Joe Danneman of FOX19 in Cincinnati that the procedure will hopefully allow him to wake up Tuesday good as new;
“I am in Carolinas Medical Center’s Dickson Heart Unit in Charlotte, North Carolina awaiting a donor heart transplant.
