Breaking down final roster battles as Bucs cut to 53

NFL teams have until one week from today -- 4 p.m., Sept. 3 -- to cut their rosters from 90 players to 53, and many will start that process as early as Friday, after the final preseason games Thursday night.

The Bucs still have difficult decisions to make -- not only who wins the individual battles for those 53, but how to handle injured players. Do QB Ryan Griffin and DL DaVonte Lambert go on injured reserve, knowing they wouldn't count toward the 53 and each NFL team can bring two players back to the active roster to start playing in Week 9?
