The lack of pass rush on the edges for the Buccaneers has created issues each of the last two seasons, but there’s hope for improvement.
It primarily starts with giving a bigger role to 2022 rookie breakout YaYa Diaby, who led the team in sacks with 7.5 and started off camp with a bang before a scary-looking injury sidelined him for at least a month. There’s optimism for Diaby’s clean bill of health to arrive by Week 1, but in the meantime his absence has opened other opportunities for players to shine.
