When the Buccaneers signed quarterback Baker Mayfield to a three-year, contract worth north of $100-million this offseason, all eyes were going to be on how well he’d perform this upcoming season.
Tampa Bay has since gone through several offseason programs and now sever days into training camp, curiosity on how Mayfield has looked thus far in a new offense.
So following Sunday’s training camp practice, head coach Todd Bowles was asked if the Bucs signal caller looks better than he did in 2023.
“I think it’s early to say whether he’s better or not, but his ball placement the last few days has been very good,” Bowles said.
