Bolts notes: Role players feeling pressure to score

TAMPA — Known for their offensive balance during the regular season, the Lightning have admittedly been top heavy during the playoffs.

Tampa Bay has relied almost exclusively on its top two lines to score while reaching the Stanley Cup Final, and some of the role players are feeling the pressure to contribute on the scoresheet.

“Any team that wins seems to have that unsung hero, and we’re very fortunate to be where we are with basically two lines to get us here,’’ said LW Brenden Morrow, still looking for his first playoff point after 19 games. “It’s been working, but it’s not going to work forever.
