Boyle, who was on the losing side of the Stanley Cup Final a year ago as a member of the Rangers, went to bed Wednesday night lamenting the one that got away. Tampa Bay led Chicago 1-0 for most of the game, until the Blackhawks scored twice in the final seven minutes to steal a 2-1 road win.
“You wake up in the morning, you should be a little angry, a little hacked off that we had a chance to take Game 1,” Boyle said Thursday, an off day for both teams.
“You shouldn’t have any regrets in the morning when you wake up.
