There are only a handful of NFL players from Tampa, but one makes a proud homecoming this weekend as Jaguars defensive end Ryan Davis, a 2008 Blake High graduate, is back to face the Bucs.
"It's definitely going to be exciting for me, and emotional," said Davis, who has emerged as a playmaker in the past year for the Jaguars. "I'll have my family there. This is my first time playing in my city professionally, so it's going to be a good experience."
Davis, 26, expects to have about 50 friends and family cheering for him at Raymond James Stadium.
