Bears cut ex-Buc Roberto Aguayo, keep Connor Barth as kicker

The Bears reportedly cut former Bucs kicker Roberto Aguayo on Saturday in favor of another ex-Buc, Connor Barth, according to multiple reports.

The former Florida State standout had been claimed on waivers after being cut by the Bucs one game into the preseason. Chicago is now on the hook for Aguayo's guaranteed salary of $428,000, unless another team claims him. If unclaimed, Aguayo becomes a free agent.

Barth was let go by the Bucs, his second stint with the team, in May 2016 after they traded up to take Aguayo in the second round of the draft.
