TAMPA, Fla. -- Long before Dirk Koetter became head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Andy Reid became head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs, the two worked together at Division II San Francisco State.
The two face off against each other this Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium.
"We were little scrub-buckets when we first started off together," Reid said, laughing. "I definitely saw him as a college coach and I figured if he got in the NFL, he'd be a head coach there too. He was very, very good."
