The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' 2018 offensive backfield may not end up being significantly different than last year's version, at least in terms of the list of names involved. It will be quite different, however, in terms of style and, if all goes well, production.
It is possible and perhaps even the most likely outcome that the Buccaneers will head into the coming season with three of the same four backs as they had at the end of 2017: Peyton Barber, Jacquizz Rodgers and Charles Sims. The missing name is Doug Martin, who was released in February after a second straight unproductive season.
