TAMPA — The Tampa Bay Buccaneers addressed three of their most glaring needs during the first three days of free agency, signing defensive end Robert Ayers, cornerback Brent Grimes and left guard J.R. Sweezy.
Those additions and the re-signing of running back Doug Martin means a team that once might have had to focus on need during the early rounds of the 2016 NFL draft can now take a best-player-available approach.
