Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie wide receiver Mike Evans had a banner day against the Washington Redskins on Sunday, catching seven balls for 209 yards and two touchdowns in Tampa's 27-7 victory in D.C.
The rest of the Bucs' offense amassed just 127 total yards, meaning that Evans' contributions to the game were the prime reason why Lovie Smith's crew was able to come away with the win.
In addition, Sunday marks Evans' third-straight 100-yard receiving game, as the former Texas A&M standout is making a very convincing case for the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Award.
