Syracuse, N.Y. -- It's a virtual certainty that the Syracuse University women's basketball team will play in front of the largest home crowd in program history when it hosts Notre Dame on Sunday in the Carrier Dome.
Speaking at a Thursday Morning Roundtable meeting this morning, SU Athletic Director John Wildhack said more than 10,000 tickets have been sold for the 5 p.m. game.
Regardless of how many fans actually show up for the game, that figure alone crushes Syracuse's previous ticket mark of 4,357 set against Connecticut in 2012.
