Redshirt-sophomore DB has officially declared for the NFL Draft, forgoing his remaining eligibility.
He has been featured as one of the nation's elite corners in this year's class by numerous draft publications, including at one point this season being listed as a potential first round pick by Pro Football Focus. A freshman All-American in 2020 and a three-time All-ACC selection at corner, Williams departs with the eighth-most pass breakups in program history.
He concludes his Orange career with 152 tackles out of the secondary, 9.5 tackles for loss and two sacks. He had four interceptions and 23 pass breakups as well and led the ACC in pass breakups in both 2020 and 2021.
