Will Tyus Battle continue Syracuse's streak of 1st-round picks?

Syracuse, N.Y. -- Syracuse's streak of NBA first-round draft picks extended to six consecutive years when the Denver Nuggets selected Tyler Lydon with the No. 24 pick in Thursday's draft.

Kentucky and Duke are the only schools with longer runs of first-round picks.

Now, the question is whether Syracuse's streak will continue next year?

Tyus Battle appears to be the obvious candidate to be the next in Syracuse's impressive run on first-round draft choices.

The 6-foot-6 guard averaged 11.3 points per game as a freshman last year despite a minor foot injury early in the season and a nagging cold during the month of February.
