Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse's stay in the Top 25 could be a short one, but it's possible that the Orange could remain in the weekly Associated Press college basketball rankings when the poll is released on Monday.
Syracuse jumped into the Top 25 a week ago after wins over nationally-ranked Connecticut and Texas A&M in the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament in the Bahamas. The Orange went from not receiving any votes the previous week to No. 14 in last week's rankings. In doing so, Syracuse became just the 18th school to vault from unranked to the top 15 since the 1988-89 season.
