Syracuse, N.Y. -- Andrew White and John Gillon didn't have their names called during the NBA's draft on Thursday night, but the two former Syracuse players could still get a chance to play in the league.
White and Gillon will look to join a list of familiar Syracuse players who weren't drafted and yet still found their way into the NBA.
In the last 25 years, four Syracuse players have made the NBA as undrafted free agents. The list includes James Southerland, Arinze Onuaku, Darryl Watkins and Stephen Thompson.
One year after his Syracuse career ended Thompson spent the 1991-92 season in the NBA.
