Lake Oswego, Ore. -- Eric Dungey sits on the back of a Super Air Nautique boat, singing along to Bruno Mars on a sweltering, 99-degree July afternoon.
"Want to try this one?" he is asked. "It's a little squirrely."
Dungey sizes up the wake surfboard. A smile curls up his face as he straps on a lifejacket, dives into the river and digs his heels into the board as the boat revs up.
