Syracuse, N.Y. — With two full days of examining potential candidates (and more potential candidates) finished, let's take a look at where the public stands regarding Syracuse athletic director Mark Coyle's upcoming decision.
After firing Scott Shafer as head football coach on Monday, Coyle is now tasked with hiring a replacement from a coaching market that could have as many as 30 openings in the Football Bowl Subdivision.
Below is a quick poll that I posted on Twitter this morning.
With room for only four choices, I included two names with ties to Coyle — Oregon offensive coordinator Scott Frost and Notre Dame OC Mike Sanford — as well as former SU assistant Ed Orgeron, who said earlier this week that he would be interested in the opening.
