DALLAS – Orange senior linebacker Kielan Whitner is one of the 20 semifinalists for the second annual Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year Award.
Compiled by a subset of the Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year Selection Committee, the semifinalists have all demonstrated a record of leadership by exhibiting exceptional courage, integrity and sportsmanship both on and off the field.
Seventeen seniors and three juniors make up the list. Among conferences, the Big Ten and Big 12 led the way with five selections each, while the ACC is represented by Whitner and Duke's Johnathan Lloyd.
