The financial realities of college sports have become a hot topic over the past month, ever since a Yahoo report detailed potential payments and lunch meetings between agents and representatives of college and high school basketball players.
Mixed into that landscape is the reality that college basketball programs around the country are generating more money than ever from those athletes. Among the 50 schools that made the most on college basketball in 2016-17, half of them set revenue records. Most others weren't too far off record revenue marks.
The top three revenue producers all play in the ACC.
