The Syracuse women's basketball team opens NCAA Tournament play with a game against Iowa State on Saturday.
The No. 8 Orange (21-10) will meet the No. 9 Cyclones (18-12) in a Bridgeport Regional contest played in Gampel Pavilion in Storrs, Conn.
Last season, SU reached the title game before losing to Connecticut. If Syracuse beats the Cylcones, it would most likely meet the No. 1 Huskies in a second-round game.
Saturday's game starts at 1:30 p.m. and will be televised on ESPN2.
