Syracuse, N.Y. -- Syracuse football will take the field for perhaps its most important game in two decades on Saturday.
The 12th-ranked Orange (8-2, 5-2 ACC) will play No. 3 Notre Dame (10-0) at 2:30 p.m. in Yankee Stadium. For those who won't be making the trek to the Bronx, the game is being televised nationally on NBC.
Mike Tirico (play-by-play), Doug Flutie (analyst) and Kathryn Tappen (sideline) will be on the call. Tirico is an SU alumnus and voting member of the school's board of trustees.
