Syracuse, N.Y. — The Syracuse basketball team will face St. John's on Sunday afternoon, the 13th consecutive season that the former Big East rivals will meet.
The game will be broadcast on Fox Sports 1, starting at noon at Madison Square Garden.
St. John's earned a 69-57 win over Syracuse last year, ending SU's 55-game home non-conference winning streak, but head coach Steve Lavin is gone and so are the Red Storm's top six scorers from last season.
The current version of the Red Storm is led by coach Chris Mullin and Federico Mussini, a 6-foot-1 point guard from Italy who is averaging 14 points per game.
