Syracuse, N.Y. --The first time the Syracuse men's basketball team faced Virginia's pack-line defense this season, the Cavaliers cheated off SU's inexperienced post players.
The second time around, Virginia went a step further, practically ignoring them.
The end result was a 59-44 win for the No. 2 Virginia (22-1, 11-0 ACC) and the worst offensive output a Syracuse men's basketball team has ever delivered inside of the Carrier Dome.
"This is the one game (this season) where we were really handled," Syracuse guard Frank Howard said.
Syracuse's previous-worst scoring performance inside of the Dome came against Georgetown on Feb.
