Syracuse, N.Y. -- After a road upset of No. 3 Duke on Saturday, the Syracuse men's lacrosse team has reached No. 9 in the latest USILA coaches poll.
That's a jump of four spots for SU (4-3 overall, 2-0 in the ACC). Syracuse collected 256 points, while Albany remained the unanimous No. 1 in with 440 points and all-22 first-place votes. Maryland (418), Denver (363), Yale (350) and Duke (327) round out the top five.
Notre Dame, which visits the Orange on Saturday, comes in at No. 6. That matchup will be SU's seventh-straight game against a ranked opponent.
