But the Huskies barely matched the intensity exhibited by their coach; for on the sideline Dan Hurley paced, clapped, stomped and screamed his way through 40 high-energy minutes.
The Connecticut Huskies beat Syracuse 83-76 on Thursday night at Madison Square Garden because in just seven short months they have adopted their coach's personality. Or maybe Hurley has plugged into his players' personalities.
"It's a perfect match,'' Connecticut guard Jalen Adams said. "His personality connects perfectly with a lot of our personalities.
