Syracuse, N.Y. - Tyus Battle is in Los Angeles these days, working on his game in preparation for the NBA Combine.
Battle, who finished his sophomore season at Syracuse as his team's leading scorer (19.2 ppg), completed his school work at SU, went home to New Jersey and then flew with his father to California, Gary Battle said.
There, he continues to work to improve his game. The NBA Combine, for which Battle is one of about 70 players to accept invitations, takes place from May 16-20 in Chicago.
"He's working on his entire game," his dad, Gary, said, "but he's really working on the NBA 3-point shot with the NBA ball.
