Syracuse, N.Y. -- Tyus Battle's official NBA Draft audition starts today in Chicago, where he will submit to a series of interviews and complete various tests designed to gauge his basketball skills and acumen, his physical size and his athletic prowess.
The NBA Combine kicks off Wednesday with medical testing, measuring and interviews with the approximately 70 players expected to participate. Battle, the Syracuse sophomore, is "testing the waters," meaning he has not made a definitive choice to forgo his final two college basketball seasons and enter the draft. He has not contracted with an agent. He has until May 30 to finalize his plans.
