The NCAA early-entry withdrawal deadline did its magic on May 29 and prompted 89 players to leave the NBA Draft field. Originally 233 players declared, and could sign agents while working out for teams that had to tell the difference between those getting advice and others making a serious run at the NBA.
Tyus Battle and Oshae Brissett are among the contenders. Their chances stand slim as 2-of-144 players left for 60 draft slots. ESPN excluded both from its latest mock draft. Neither appeared in Kevin O’Connor’s annual draft guide on the Ringer, which lists 60 scouting reports.
