Syracuse, N.Y. – Tyler Roberson is so stoic, he makes the Queen's Guards at Buckingham Palace seem out-going and talkative.
He speaks about as often as one of the Easter Island statues. His voice rarely rises above the level of the low-talker on Seinfeld. In other words, Roberson is Syracuse's man of few words.
"I never know if he's focused or if he's just really mellow and calm,'' Syracuse senior guard Michael Gbinije said. "Tonight, he was focused.''
On Saturday night, Roberson was focused. The 6-foot-8 junior scored a career-high 20 points to bail out a Syracuse team that was searching for offense in a 66-55 victory over Elon at the Carrier Dome.
