Syracuse, N.Y. -- In another month or so, Tyler Lydon is going to face a difficult decision.
Lydon, Syracuse's 6-foot-9 sophomore, is projecting as a late first-round pick in this year's NBA draft.
Lydon could join the recent run on underclassmen to leave Syracuse for the NBA, including Malachi Richardson, Chris McCullough, Tyler Ennis, Jerami Grant and Michael Carter-Williams.
But Lydon's decision will have a factor that those previous Syracuse-to-NBA draft picks didn't have -- the impact of one of the deepest draft classes in recent history.
The 2017 NBA draft is considered one of the best in the past several years and it's due mainly to this year's incredibly gifted freshman class.
