As the Syracuse Orange look to battle for a bowl game berth this season by winning one of the their next three games, the coaching staff is battling to put together another strong recruiting class to build momentum after 2020 and 2021’s relatively strong classes. (Comparatively to where Syracuse historically was, that is.)
Unfortunately, the odds of that happening took a big hit on Monday, as the Orange’s top commitment decided to re-open his commitment, announcing the news via Twitter and the all popular notes app.

Q’yaeir Price, a three-star defensive lineman of DePaul Catholic and Wayne, NJ announced his decommitment from the Orange a little over three months after committing to Syracuse.
